THE GOSSIP DIARIES (of my life)

 Very slow morning! And very cold. I came to school earlier than normal to get some work caught up, and guess what, the WIFI is down:(  It was down when I was back at the dorm, but they fixed that one, so I was under the impression they would fix the on-campus WIFI as well... nope. People are using their hotspots, but unfortunately, in some buildings, you get 4 bars or zero, and Verizon charges so much money to be the best, yet I can't get a signal.  A topic I've been thinking about lately is self-identity. Most people I know (including myself) have known who they are to some extent, and sometimes I wonder if who I am or if I am performing for the likes of others. Sometimes I couldn't tell you, but for the most part, I'm well-grounded. I feel like in today's age and even before my time (but more now), you have to be labeled something; people can't wrap their mind around a person if they can't label you, it sends their mind into a frenzy.  I’m very much grown now, and I’m absolutely loving it. It took a while for me to get this way, but it’s only the beginning. I try to do something different every year, but now the years actually mean something. I’m 20, in college, time is ticking on adulthood, not to mention I’m already in it. Boy issues… um, I wish. Or just to actually have a functioning guy speak actual sense. I don’t know why we have dumbed ourselves down (including girls) to impress others. I want to have a genuine conversation about, I don’t know, life, your interests, favorite color. Is it that hard? Who told us it was cool to see something we like and either not pursue it, or do but give interest until you figure out if the girl is going to let you have sex or not, only to end up moving on after that’s over? GUYS, we are only getting older. The whole “I’m not ready for a relationship” is so last season. Get over yourself. It’s not weak to actually want to find someone and experience the aspect of love.
