A COLD AND HUNGRY DAYY!!

Very slow morning! And very cold. I came to school earlier than normal to get some work caught up, and guess what, the WIFI is down:(

It was down when I was back at the dorm, but they fixed that one, so I was under the impression they would fix the on-campus WIFI as well... nope. People are using their hotspots, but unfortunately, in some buildings, you get 4 bars or zero, and Verizon charges so much money to be the best, yet I can't get a signal.

A topic I've been thinking about lately is self-identity. Most people I know (including myself) have known who they are to some extent, and sometimes I wonder if who I am or if I am performing for the likes of others. Sometimes I couldn't tell you, but for the most part, I'm well-grounded. I feel like in today's age and even before my time (but more now), you have to be labeled something; people can't wrap their mind around a person if they can't label you, it sends their mind into a frenzy. And yes some people like to have a specific aesthetic: there whole vibe has to be curated around what vibe they want to give off for example: I get emo (because I have an eyebrow piercing), sometimes people categorize me with 2000's (I like wearing track suites) but personally i tend to wear the same stuff on the daily: suitepants, big chunky rings, sometimes bright or dull colors, big oversized or different color glasses. I honestly can't tell you what my vibe is because I lowkey don't want to be just one thing. Having things you wear on a day-to-day basis is a STAPLE like my rings, or I'm usually wearing a star necklace.

I'm going on and on. What I mean by all of this is it's okay to be different or take inspiration from different styles of people, and some people will notice when you try to change up, but the key word is NOTICE there watching you. Some people might try to make you feel bad, but remember, they are mad because they were too scared to do it themselves. WE ARE ORIGINAL, WE MAKE PEOPLE FEEL COMFORTABLE, BUT STARTING TRENDS ARE SELF-STARTING.
